What is Present Continuous Tense?
Present Continuous Tense which is also known as Present Imperfect Tense or Present Progressive Tense, shows that the work is happening in the immediate present time.

Introduction of Present Continuous Tense in Hindi
जिन हिंदी वाक्यों के अंत में रहा हूँ, रही हैं, रहे हैं, रहे हो, रहा है जैसे शब्द हो तो वो वाक्य Present Continuous Tense के होते हैं|
| हमलोग खेल रहे हैं| | We are playing. |
| लड़के हो हल्ला कर रहे हैं| | Boys are making a noise. |
लेकिन जिन हिंदी वाक्यों के अंत में रहा हूँ, रही हैं, रहे हैं, रहे हो, रहा है जैसे शब्द हो और उसमे समय भी समल्लित हो जैसे, (दो दिन से, सुबह से, 12 बजे से इत्यादि) रहे तो वो वाक्य Present Perfect Continuous Tense के अनुसार होता हैं|
| वह सुबह से काम कर रहा है| | He has been working since morning. |
जिन हिंदी वाक्यों के अंत में रहा हूँ, रही हैं, रहे हैं, रहे हो, रहा है जैसे शब्द हो और उसमे ये बोध की काम कुछ समय से होता आ रहा हैं, वो वाक्य भी Present Continuous Tense के होते हैं|
| वह आजकल चाय पी रही है| | She is taking tea now a days. |
जिन हिंदी वाक्यों के अंत में रहा हूँ, रही हैं, रहे हैं, रहे हो, रहा है जैसे शब्द हो और उसमे ये बोध हो की काम को करने या होने की सम्भावना (Intention ) हैं तो वो वाक्य भी Present Continuous Tense के होते हैं|
| मैं एक कार खरीदने जा रहा हूँ| | I am going to buy a car. |

Example of Present Continuous Tense
| तुम स्कूल जा रहे हो| | You are going to school. |
| वह कल आ रही है| | She is coming tomorrow. |
| वह आजकल चाय पी रही है| | She is taking tea now a days. |
| वे लोग तुम्हारी मदद नहीं कर रहे हैं| | They are not helping you. |
| बच्चे स्कूल नहीं जा रहे हैं| | Children are not going to school. |
Present Continuous Tense rule for Affirmative Sentences
Rule : Subject + (Is/Am/Are) + Verb1+ing + Objects + Etc.
| कुत्ते भौक रहें हैं| | The dogs are barking. |
| हमलोग खेल रहे हैं| | We are playing. |
| वह काम कर रहा है| | He is working. |
| तुम स्कूल जा रहे हो| | You are going to school. |
| वह कल आ रही है| | She is coming tomorrow. |

| सूर्य आकाश में नहीं चमक रहा है| | The sun is not shining in the sky. |
| बच्चे स्कूल नहीं जा रहे हैं| | Children are not going to school. |
| वर्षा नहीं हो रही है| | It is not raining. |
| तुम कुछ नहीं कर रहे हो| | You are not doing anything. |
