What is Ordinal Numbers in English?
The numbers which shows the order or position of any object in a sequence are known as Ordinal Number in English. Let’s suppose any students grab the top position then that student will be addressed as First position in class and followed by position like Second, Third and so on.
Same in case of any competition participants are declared in Ordinal Numbers in English as First(1st), Second(2nd), Third(3rd), Fourth(4th), Fifth(5th). Likewise if we talk about any building floors then we use Ordinal Numbers in English like First floor, Second floor, Third floor, Fourth floor etc.
